No monthly payment and no RSS feed

I started using Vimeo in 2016 with a free account. I now have a Business account.My company doesn't allow yearly payments for online services, only monthly. I got an exceptional authorization with the idea of talking to them and get a monthly payment somehow. No luck so far. I would certainly get a Premium account otherwise.I found out that my account RSS feeds are broken, I asked for a fix (a 5 minutes coding task). They responded RSS is obsolete... I don't agree, I use RSS Feeds with Mailchimp, Sendinblue, SEMrush, SocialPilot, and XenForo. Indeed those RSS feeds let me automate my weekly newsletter, create social auto-posts, and update the company forums.I still hope something will change.

Vimeo locks users out, no explanation

Update. Vimeo unlocked our account and apologized for their mistake. No credit offered. Another star when we psychologically recover :). I volunteer for a non-profit. We had an event, filmed it and uploaded it to inform our community. Vimeo removed our entire account of community videos and locked us out of our account completely. It injured multiple websites. Vimeo makes it very difficult to contact them if you cannot login. This policy is terrible. We have worked hard to support Vimeo instead of Youtube. This is very unfortunate. We will adjust the rating up or down depending on Vimeo's response.

Positive help from customer service!

so, to be honest, from prior reviews regarding non-responsive customer service, I was getting a bit uneasy when I, too, hadn't heard anything following my request for a refund for an upgrade to Pro Unlimited which I did a week ago. Decided to stick w/ the Pro plan at least for a while longer and think through options. I did indeed hear back from two different reps in response to the three or so messages I left. They were Jillian and Amanda were very helpful, apologized for the delay and noted they have apparently been swamped w/ email during this COVID mess. Refund is already in process as of an hour ago. I did, as I said, send more than a few messages and kept things positive. Been happy with the service thus far.

Honest and trustworthy, easy refund

I signed up for a trial, which puts you in auto-renewal. I thought I had cancelled it but I hadn't. I contacted Vimeo when I saw a charge on my card and they cancelled it for me within 24 hours, very honest for this model, lots of companies wouldn't do that. Very trustworthy imo.

Quite expensive and important limitations in the lower tier plans

The value you receive from this service is too expensive for what you get. Even with a pro account you can only upload 20Gb a week so if you pretend to upload Prores video like for short films you will have to get the pro unlimited account that at close to 400$ a year is crazy when you have free services like Youtube. Quality of videos is good. Much better than Youtube but I think they go to far

I subscribe and pay $3.99/mo to watch Lisa Shaw give lessons on Embrilliance embroidery software. She is a wonderful teacher! She posts a new video at least once a week. For the last 4 weeks I have been locked out 3 times. They want me to sign up and pay $3.99 a month. I DO THAT ALREADY. They even send me an email telling me there's a new video up and because I subscribe I can 'click here' to watch..k NOPE -- locked out again. What is their problem???????????????Here it is a day later and no one has contacted me and I am still locked out. What is it with you, Vimeo?????Here it is yet another day later (Now Feb 10, 2022) and I still cannot connect, they have not contacted me (I did give them my phone number in the TWO emails to them) by phone or by email. Now it's been 6 days, and no resolution. They have and extensive 'help' menu, but it's for people who post videos and are members, not for the ones who pay to watch. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've created a Vimeo acct and left message via there 'submit ticket' I'll give them a few more days, then I must cancel with the person who posts the videos.DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!PRLEMA week later the issue was finally fixed. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in posting this. So, I'm changing my review from 2 stars to 4 -- if Trustpilot let's me.PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED - NOW 4 STARS

Result of my complaint on June 8, 2020 : I was able to send my complaint to Vimeo via their contact form. Carrie responded to my request in less than 48 hours. The whole refund $240 was deposited into my credit card account. I'm satisfied with the result. I took away one star because I think Vimeo shouldn't charge any fee when clients are trying the 30 days trial.

This company made me set up an account only to cancel it.

This company made me set up an account, and then tried to get me to pay big bucks for it, when all I wanted to do was post a Review. I took the time to set up the free account, then took the time to write a very detailed Review, but then when I tried to post the Review, I got a message saying Vimeo cancelled my account via an automated bot due to it failing certain filters. I then disputed it on an online form, and a couple hours later they then emailed me saying they made a mistake, and my account had been re-instated. After reading some of the other Reviews I'm not sure if I will keep my account at this point.
