I used to love phoning Harry & David! The people were always pleasant and appreciative that I phoned NOW it's a totally different story. You're lucky if you get someone that hasn't gotten out of bed on the wrong side! VERY pushy to make a sale, not eager to help, I've been told to email H&D if I wasn't purchasing something because they cannot assist me, I hang up and call back and get a different rep OH SURPRISE, SURPRISE, she knows how to get the information I need BUT not very happy to assist. I've about had it with H&D!!!Also the fruit I have been receiving lately arrives rotten. H&D are great about making good by it BUT when they make good with more rotten fruit I've been treated like I am an annoying person AND THEN before I hang up they want me to buy more, are you kidding me???

I emailed customer service to ask about the ingredients of their Truffles so I could make sure a family member could eat them (two allergies) and they emailed me back that day. I ordered them for Mothers Day only a week in advance, but they were as good as their word. The items that I chose said they would be delivered by Mothers Day and they were, with a day to spare. I'm so glad they take the time to mark the date items will arrive when you are checking out. That makes all the difference.Oh yeah, Mom LOVED the truffles.

They are excellent we ordered from them for our Mother’s on Mother’s Day and they forgot to put one of the brownies in the basket that my brother ordered from Costco through them which was not even their fault but they shipped her two boxes of both the brownies! A big Thank you fir making it right!

Beautiful Fruit arrived! I may have had to wait 20 days but the sugar belle oranges and pink grapefruits combo arrived from Arizona on Feb 28th.The package (sturdy box) contained the most beautiful selection of absolutely perfect citrus. Not a blemish to be found.And the taste - incredible. Sweet and juicy every fruit.Nice job H & D and FedEx also for their careful handling.

I ordered my Mother in Law a Mother’s Day gift and yes... it has not yet arrived. My husband was not surprised and we don’t blame Harry and David. It could be Fed Ex. This Company has made so many of our family and friends receive a special gift and all were very happy with all they received. One day I will send myself a gift basket to see what all the fuss is about!

Great customer service

I placed an online order for a cake to send to a friend to express our sympathy so I of course wanted it to arrive within a week or so. After I placed the order I noticed the shipping estimate was nearly a month away. I called H&D to cancel the order and the CSR was so helpful and kind. She looked up my order, found another cake in the same price range that was more readily available and changed the order over to it. She also waived the express shipping fee and scheduled for it to arrive two-day at no extra cost to me. I thought this customer service was incredible and should be recognized!

Sometimes a but......

As usual, your fruits are fantastically enjoyed.......each received delivery was always met with a Thsnk you for the treat.....that was delicious.....but.....and for the first time ever, there is a but! and the loss of one star.This was the first time that I had ever ordered a bakery item....the Baklava......and sadly, the treat was met with a bad review.My daughter actually dropped off the second piece of the Baklava so I would give my opinion....

For Christmas I sent some friends smoked salmon; the recipients were not pleased with the food. I actually wanted to send them lobster pot pies, I ordered them then a week later, I was told they were sold out. But, they did refund my money. I did express my frustration to H&D co. and they did contact me and offered to replace the salmon with another selection.I must say they did come through and my recipients loved the chicken pot pie I selected for them. I was not charged nor had to pay any shipping. It was H & D's professional courtesy which I greatly appreciated. They did come through at the end.I would definitely order from Harry and David again.

Used to be good and now really sucks

My family had been good customers for years. Each year customer service worse and worse. Ordered two large expensive gift baskets for doctors offices. Was told when I ordered the item was in stock and would arrive by x mas. Got a voice mail today Jan 4 that item out of stock, nothing was delivered to either office and at some in designated time in the future substitute arrangement would be sent. What????
