it's a great company

it's a great company which is still expanding and needs the support, their taxis are on time and with a great selection of cars such as the GO (Piolet), Economy, business class, Careem Electric, Careem Kids, with supporting the Great RTA having Taxis on the app which you can book at any time, the MAX, UNHCR which supports by giving 3 DHS off your ride to help Refugees, Car Services which helps you in the time of need and finally the First Class option. all in all, this is a great company which is trying to make a stance in the way we see taxis operate and even expand further.

Careem Bike charged me an overtime fee - (UPDATE - I was refunded)

Careem Bike charged me an overtime fee of AED200 for using their bike last June 30 to transfer from JLT Cluster I to DMCC station (invoice ID 836920). My trip only lasted for approximately 3 minutes hence I was shocked that I was charged with this amount. I have completely returned the bike and heard the sound when I put it in one of the docks in DMCC.I tried to call their customer service number but after I raised my concern, my call was dropped. I sent them an email and hoping to get a good result.LATE UPDATE: I was refunded with the amount charged to me. Thankful to the staff who professionally handled my complaint. Upgrading my rating to 4 stars just because I’m grateful my case was resolved in 2 weeks (more or less).

Would like to share my experience with careem.com resently we used careemkid . Came on time even charged extra 19 aed that we late 6 min . Destination was clear and took us on time , total bill for 12km in 15 min came out 85 aed . Usually normal taxi will charge same destination for 45/50 aed. So its bit rip of money. The carseat was not suitable for a 4 month baby as a mentioned 0+ in careem web. Was 6month + and not clean.One thing usful with careem is if you dont ha e money they will simple add the amount to your account . So we didnt have a change for 500 aed so paid 60 aed 25 he added to our account. Iverall was cool and avalable everywhere.
