Happy customer for a year and going!

Have been using BB for about a year. Signed up with a free turkey promotion. Have since added the ground beef for life and bacon for life member deals. You pay a flat rate one time for the "free for life" deals, then never have to pay again to add those items to your box. The site offers great flexibility in choosing your next box meat selections, ship date, and shipping frequency. There's a link clear as day to pause your subscription for as long as you'd like. You can edit the box up until the day before it is billed. I live in Texas not too far from the distribution center in Oklahoma. I always receive my box within 1-2 business days after the billing date. Orders are delivered through LSO. Meat is frozen on dry ice when it arrives. Every cut I've tried has been spectacular. Way better than what my local grocery store offers. I wrap the meat I'll be cooking that week in a towel while it's thawing in the fridge. I've had a few packages with hairline cracks along the seam that allowed juice/blood to seep out, but with the extreme temperature of the ice, it's understandable how that could happen. I'm very pleased with this subscription and the healthier/tastier options it provides. I recommend to everyone. I'm proud to be a customer.

Butcher box orders I have received have…

Butcher box orders I have received have always arrived still frozen. They're using LaserShip to deliver the package. I get email and opted in for text alerts. Package is well insulated. If it's thawed but still below 40 degrees you can put it into the freezer and it will be fine. There's sometimes substitutions, but I don't mind. As I have no food allergies or special requirements in other words I can eat just about anything. Comes into Jacksonville, FL then to Orlando, FL and finally delivered to me in Wildwood, FL. Usually there's some dry ice still in the box upon arrival.

The meat quality is excellent

The meat quality is excellent! However I do not recommend the beef burgers nor the salmon burgers. The beef burgers taste really bad and the salmon burgers are dry and too hot spicy. Other than that I recommend only the meat (not cooked or processed), the chicken and the fish. They should have keep only the unprocessed meat...

Had butcher box for like a year

Had butcher box for like a year. It was convenient, the meat comes portioned out pretty well. Really good selection and decent deals from time to time. Unfortunately I had to drop this service because during the summer some of my meat would come thawed out in every order and almost every order came with some sort of package damage as far as the seals of the meat being compromised. Eventually it just became too much of a hassle. Regardless, it's a good service. Their customer service never once had any issues replacing my items.

I Have had Butcherbox for a few years…

I Have had Butcherbox for a few years now and LOVE it. I live in a desert and my first box was thawed on arrival. I called the company to give feedback that they should consider weather conditions when shipping. they sent me a whole new box, and fixed the packaging issues right away. since then I have only twice had an error in my orders and both times they fixed the issue right away with very little hassle. the meat is high quality and always arrives on time

I got my first box

I got my first box, it was all frozen solid, and on time. I am not much of a stake eater most of it turns out dry and tasteless, but the ones I got from butcherbox was so tinder and had the best taste of any beef I have ever had , all the packs were of nice size, just took one to feed my son not 2 like others I have tried, and my cat loves the nice heavy box

All good...

On my second box. So far so good. I cooked the bacon on a broiler pan in the oven. It was crispy and flavorful. There was very little grease in the bottom of the broiler pan. 5 stars. Tonight we had a BBQ pork pack . It was delicious. Sirloins are lean and flavorful. I prepared sirloin tips in a gravy . That was a big hit, I’ll get them again. I ordered the custom box because I wanted to choose specific items. I have it delivered every six weeks. It’s been a godsend to us during the pandemic as two of are immune compromised. Looking forward to the filet mignon tomorrow.

The meats were fine

The meats were fine. The issue I had was they started substituting in chicken legs. Yeah chicken legs. 50 cents a piece at walmart kinda thing. That's when I canceled my subscription.
