Amazing customer service

One of my orders didn’t come, I emailed them and they got back to me within an hour or so, they told me to hold on another week, I emailed them this morning to say it still hasn’t come, they emailed back to say there is a refund on its way to me! ABSOLUTELY fantastic customer service and despite not getting one book from my order I will definitely be re ordering from this website!!

edit: got my refund now very fast, thank youThe customer service is absolutely terrible. I am sorry to leave an other feedback. I was afterwards contacted fast after i left here a rating and said I am willing to wait an other week of the book. I dont see any confirmation if it was sent or no, they do not provide any tracking number. No both of my books are weeks delayed and I requested a refund. Now for sure again, they cant answer.Again, do not order and save you the headache.I do understand delays due to corona but I do not understand this terrible service. I am apparently not the only one with this issue.

I do not recommend Book Depository

I do not recommend Book Depository, from 3 books ordered I received 2 and the other one hasn't been dispatched after one month since placing my order, no update whatsoever. Never ordering from here again.Book Depository: Please proceed with my refund, I'm leaving my order number here.

Customer service lacking

I have used the Book Depository many times in the past and had no issues, so they do have that going for them. However until now I have never needed to use their customer service which I did find lacking. I recently ordered a book that I already owned because I wanted the cover that matched the rest of my series, unlike the one I already had. Upon receipt I found that the book did not match the image on the website and was actually identical to the book I already had. The customer service team explained that they couldn't guarantee the cover because their suppliers might have assorted covers for one ISBN. I could understand this issue, but given that all of their images for the paperback version of this book were the cover that I wanted, I thought it not unreasonable to expect that I would receive said cover. When I explained this to their customer service and asked respectfully that they cover the cost of shipping due to this (as it would cost almost as much as the book to return at my own cost), they refused on the grounds that their FAQ states that the cover images on their website are a guide only. I do have my doubts that this FAQ section was there before our exchange as the wording of it exactly matched the email I received including the use of the first person. Regardless of this, I thought it would be good customer service to at least help to cover the cost of return shipping given that the cover image was misleading and this is the sole thing that the book was ordered for.Just be aware that:1. You may not receive the cover you think you're getting.2. If there are any issues their customer service may not be very understanding.Note: In their defence, after posting this review, I was contacted by their Resolutions Specialist and provided a full refund for the title. Therefore I will be using the Book Depository again in future but will just be more aware of the fact that I may not get the cover pictured when I do.

Ordered Book 3 Weeks Ago

I ordered two books 3 weeks ago and one came within expected times but the second still hasn’t come and it says it was dispatched 8 days ago. I live in Dublin, Ireland so it shouldn’t be taking this long. I don’t know what to do.

Good website, works fine, book came!

I was very sceptic to order because I read all the negative reviews, people didn't recieve the book at all etc. But, I wanted to give it a try. Ordered one book around 15th of April and it came today (I live in Croatia). For free shipping it surely works fine for me. So it's not a fake site and it works well, even got a cute bookmark with the book :)
