We ordered a beautiful marble coffee table from West Elm. Just after some time I saw the rate on Trustpilot and panicked. I have to say that we got the delivery slot the next day and the table arrived very quickly and nicely packed. It's beautiful and apart of few tiny scratches on metal part I have nothing bad what to say. Overall I'm a happy customer.

Bad service to begin with, but amazing customer service in the end!

I was having a horrible time getting the bed frame I ordered in the summer delivered. After going through so many customer service people who offered me very little information, in November I finally came in contact with Jordan from the International Support Team. He was INCREDIBLY helpful, and actively would investigate my queries about my bed and he continued to check in with me every week for several weeks to update me on its status. His level of customer service was above and beyond, and almost made up for the fact that my bed took almost 6 months to arrive. I wish West Elm was quicker with the delivery, but am so appreciative for the dedication and quality of service Jordan provided.

I ordered 4 dining room chairs from west elm and two head and foot chairs from eternity modern. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the chairs I got from west elm, they are in blue velvet and they are gorgeous!!! Shipping was to be 3 months and it was exactly three months. Highly recommend!!!!Also, I ordered from the store so they would get the credit. Trying to help brick and mortar stores.

I ordered the Haven double wide chaise in performance velvet. My order came right on time and was delivered earlier than the initial time window. The William Sonoma delivery men were great as well. The couch is amazing quality and absolutely gorgeous. I don’t understand the poor reviews because every interaction I’ve had with west elm has been very positive.

I'd read a TON of awful reviews about West Elm online so I was weary about shopping there. I found out there was a West Elm store in my city so I decided to go in person instead of order online. Seemed safer. I would be able to speak to someone in person and ask about details regarding the product, the shipping, etc. I think that's always a better option. Unfortunately, not every store we wish to buy from is in our city. I get it. Anyway, Brandon was really helpful at the store and put my order in, reassuring me of the delivery dates and stuff. He also said that if anything was wrong with the product, to just call and ask for him directly and he'd take care of it. I ordered a platform bed. The only complaint I have is that several screw holes did not align. And some of the screw holes weren't even holes but small dots where the hole should be. The instructions say, specifically, to NOT use a drill but, I had to.

Nice Products But Everything is Backordered–Frustrating!

West Elm has pretty nice stuff and I like buying from them. Their prices are a bit high but I have no complaints. If I like it and it’s good quality, I’ll buy. I haven’t bought any furniture from them, only household items here and there.1. They need to improve their warehouse fulfillments. I ordered a cushion and received the wrong one twice which required me to go to a UPS location twice to return both products. A lot of effort wasted.2. When the right cushion was finally being “shipped”, the delivery date kept changing then it was backordered for a month. I finally received it and it came in a grotesquely oversized box. The cushion was made of a weave material that was collecting lint like crazy before I even took it out and it was overstuffed to the point where the stitching was popping out. I had to return it and bring this huge box to UPS.3. Then, I ordered 6 different items from West Elm. I had to cancel the entire order because every item was backordered despite no notification of this during purchase. It only shows up after your order confirmation is received. I understand if items are backordered, but this needs to be stated upfront because if I had known, I wouldn’t have ordered the items. Some of them had a shipping date 5-6 months from the purchase date which is ridiculous. Customer service is very pleasant and helpful and doesn’t take long to get them on hold on phone or email (in my experience). Other than that, I do recommend them but I could see a lot of customers had issues with furniture delivery. I will keep an eye out if I do purchase any furniture items.

I had an online issue- I’d already written my review of thatThis is a follow up-I managed to talk to the store manager of Westfield branch in London and finally west elm had some senseHe was lovely and listened to my concerns about having placed an order online where it was reduced price, I did not want to purchase the same items that didn't go through at full price（because of a transaction issue with my card) He was happy to honour it as there was an issue with passing the transaction from my card online , at the price it was originally order confirmed.He was really helpful and honoured all of my items that I had previous purchased at the price that I had bought it, despite west elm had put the price up 1-2weeks after I had purchased the order. It did come through finally but in batches .
