Poor business model

Basic I find the software good as well as the support.BUT their business model with automatic renewal as default and almost impossible to find/remove it is very poor and its very difficult to get in contact with support. but basic happy with support when you final get in contact. Price for protection vary from country till country but when you live Peru and suddenly being charged price as you live in UK you getting very upset, fair enough Norton did refund me 50% but it was hard work to get to that point do to the poor contact possibilities. Next year there will not be Norton on any of my computers unless the massively improved.

Beware of Auto renewal

Like others, I have recently been caught in the auto renewal trap. This is a disgusting practice because in my case it inflated the product by 160%. I am a long time customer (since around 2010) and the reason I stay is because I have always been able to depend on it to protect my PC but Norton does make it a hassle to exit. I've never had any security issues, you should be safe with Norton.Tips: You can turn off Norton auto renewal on your Norton account. Do this as soon as you register. That said, I'm sure I've done this on a number of occasions & it always auto-renews so perhaps worth setting a reminder around a month before annual renewal to double check.Norton will take auto renewal payment 30 days or so before expiry of your current license. They do not allow you to request a refund via their website so as soon as they take payment you need to call them!UK number is 080 0331 6004.I spoke to a polite if scripted customer service rep. Although they seemed oddly keen to keep me on hold, I was only on the phone for 15 minutes. You need to tell them you want to cancel. It is their job to keep you - make it clear you will accept the price you can get without auto-renewal. They can and will refund the difference (5-7 business days) because they want to keep your subscriber business! That person may even be on commission to retain you!Remember, even if you cancel, you can easily obtain an alternative provider or simply buy a new license from loads of providers on Google. The power is in your hands!

I am trully hope that we really can get something from each antivirus we only try on every level. It's one of the best of them, one of the most stable and so on, I could count it more and more, I am not happy to see so many negative reviews here.

Norton safe site is great for checking malware and ensuring that a site is free from malware.I think its great and use it for visiting any forums in diff countries (gaming etc) Not sure about their AV products though as a few times they slowed my laptop right down so now use avast

Problem With Norton.

I recently purchased Norton 360 Delux for the purpose of renewal to cover 5 devices. I successfully installed NIS to a Laptop PC, iPad and an iPhone. Unfortunately I have been unable to install NIS on this device as It keeps advising me that my subscription has expired. I have been in touch with support but they seem unable to assist as I keep getting ‘cut off, during our discussion. I have been using NIS for many years now and it seems every year there is at least one problem with installation. Unfortunately I have lost the case number as I must have deleted it.
