Nordstrom Rack Student Discount July 2022

I do most of my shopping with them online. There are great deals and their shipping service is great. What really get me is when they cancelled my items twice because I guess their inventory wasn't accurate. Each time it's that one thing I really want to get and the rest are just things to make up for free shipping. They won't cancel your order for you after an hour of when you placed the order, even if they told you they won't be able to fulfill your order in a couple days because of COVID. Well they sent me emails about out of stock items two days after... If you don't have their store close to where you live you'll have to pay to return those items. Still going to shop with them when they have sweet deals but I'd hate for that to happen to me again.

Since I'm in Canada I can't go into Nordstrom Rack. Before COVID I was traveling to the US before and loved going to this store. Such great deals and clothes! I have been using the website and have had a really great experience.

They opened up Nordstrom Rack in Toronto relatively recently. It's right in downtown Toronto so I don't have to go outside of the city anymore for a good deal in outlets. It became my first stop to check for anything from socks to winter jackets. I go there first and if they don't have anything I like then I go somewhere else. Variety of brands and items is great. And you can get a real good deal sometimes.

So disappointed with Nordstroms rack now charging $.10 per paper bag in Alaska they have always used paper bag so. Now they’re just taking advantage wanting us to spend more money

I don’t know the reason why they have so many bad reviews but my experience with their customer service was very very good. I had an issue with my shipping address leading to my account was locked. I did not know it was the shipping address issue so I changed my billing address and made the problem getting worse and my nordstrom card was locked as well. And AMBER team, a very kind and patient team I’ve ever seen in my life helped me getting through the process even though it Was very complicated because I messed up my information in the system. I appreciate what they did, not about my orders but their service. I love Nordstrom Rack, and will be their customer forever. Thanks AMBER team. If you have problem, try to reach out her team, you will see what I said is correct.

The slowest shipping and SLOWEST RETURNS everbut the merchandise seems good and I got a return processed by post, and now online at the new store on 31st st, lovely lady, was immediately credited to my account. It was just one small item but still.Just the returns via post are mad long. I posted a return in the US on June 1, it's 20 days later, still hasn't reached their storage place?!

Got it in 3 days! Super fast delivery and I paid nothing for it. Thank you !

This was my first purchase from here. My mom use to order Hobo wallets for me for Christmas off this site several years ago and never had any issues. Recently this website came to my mind as I was searching for a new Hobo Bag and wallet. I found what I liked for an awesome price and submitted my order. After purchasing I happened to look up reviews of the site and to my surprise nearly every single review was BAD! From shipping problems , to items not being available, even problems with getting refunds. I was mortified. I called the bank to stop the payment but it had already came out. So I opted to give it a few days. The next day I received a shipping email with a tracking number. The items were delivered without any issues 2 days later and I tracked it all the way to my front door. When the box arrived everything was there and in super great shape. Could not ask for a better first experience. Hopefully whatever problems they were having have been worked out. My expertise has been great. Just a little hope for those who may be waiting on an order with the same fears I had.

Wow! I am shocked at all the negative reviews. I never had a problem with them at all. I catch their best sales of the year and paid less than $300 for a whole summer wardrobe. Quality products..quick shipping..and absolutely no problems.

This is a review on Nordstrom Rack online. It is an excellent online shopping site. You can easily find some great deals and if you know what you're going into at first then you will be happy. THEY SELL: Things that are overstock from last season / previous years, things in less popular colors or styles, things that people have returned one too many times to be sold as brand new at full price and cosmetics in less popular or discontinued shades or are too close to the expiry date to sell in store. They also sell mis-marked sizes (if you order your size you'll receive it, however it might show a differing size on the label.) It can be a wonderful deal. Sometimes though, I've ordered my size in items and receive the correct size tag but it's clearly either way too large or way too small. (Sometimes it takes Nordstrom Rack a bit to "catch up" to the knowledge and realize the size issues in what they sell and re-mark it accordingly.) BEWARE OF THE FAKES & FINAL SALE: They also seem to have a few fakes and factory defects that make their way in. I once purchased a Laura Mercier pressed powder that was clearly the wrong color and differing packaging than I'm used to with no seal and the wrong sponge included. (Fake?) I also purchased a concealer that arrived absent of outer packaging, opened and partially empty and completely dried out with the expiry date one month away. Unfortunately these items were FINAL SALE and could not be returned or exchanged, even though I'd received clearly fake or useless merchandise. That said, STAY AWAY FROM ANY FINAL SALE ITEMS, especially any cosmetic items because chances are there's good reason they're "final sale" (no one in their right mind would ever want them.) I'm assuming sometimes they will "get a deal" on something from a brand and that brand will be offering said deal to them because it's a bad dye lot or batch. These things usually end up on their sister site, HAUTELOOK. Hautelook is usually the "final sale" batch of whatever's there at Nordstrom Rack. The daily deals direct from the brands is where I go on that site because I'm guaranteed it's actually coming from the brand. Since the sites are connected I can check out on Rack. THE CART IS ANNOYING: I do not like the way things "expire" in one's cart. It's a way they get you to hurry up and buy faster because if someone else puts it into their cart, then you lose out. This happens because they often only have one of something. Items stay "on hold" in your cart for about 10 or 15 minutes before expiring but it's a real pain. They should just do away with that feature of the site and when something runs out, it's out. Simple as that.
