Slow getting tech support

Very difficult accessing tech-support. It took over a week without hearing any feedback from emails or calls. I called sales, was transferred to tech-support, and after an hour waiting there I was able to get help. I wouldn’t mind waiting an hour or a few days, but the lack of communication was frustrating. My issue was resolved---Thank you for responding. Again - it's not waiting that is a problem for me, it's not knowing when or if someone would get back to be. If you could simply change the email reply to "we'll get back to you in within 2, 4, 6, 8 business days" or whatever you need. I think that would greatly reduce the concern for folks that have issues, aren't getting assistance and don't know when they'll get help.

Watch out, iFit will grab you!

When I bought my Nordictrack incline trainer, I did not want the iFit software that came with it as I wasn't used to or requiring that service. But the incline trainer included a free year's trial, so I tried it. I didn't expect the experience to be so immersive, addictive, enjoyable and customisable. I have the small screen on my incline trainer, but it is adequate for iFit workouts. The quality of the videos is high. I can revisit and re-remember places I have been to or nearby areas. I walk on my incline trainer, but can adjust the run oriented videos down to walking speed. Highly recommended

Feeling motivated

I couldn’t connect to the WiFi and update the firmware so I used the console support to search for an answer. I was keen to give the bike a go, so tried to update the software again and it was successful. In response to the service ticket, I later found an email from the zen desk sent within a couple of hours with a very detailed set of instructions on how to rest the console.. TBH I didn’t realise that the console help linked to customer services. I didn’t need the info and I suppose it will be handy to have, but I was pleased with the service. As for the machine, I’ve just had my first bike workout and was pretty impressed with iFit coach too. Loved the live resistance and workout quality. Happy and sweaty. Result!

If you’re new to running

If you’re new to running on a treadmill with iFit, I can highly recommend trainer named Tommy Rivs. I use the iFit Active Pulse feature so my heart rate doesn’t go too high. I’ve done his intro to running 6 week program, and have just finished his 2 week Easter Island running program.He is such a gem. It feels like you’re not even running. I get so lost in all the history he talks about.Really really love iFit.

Motivational

IFit keeps track of my progress, and keeps it challenging. Love the wide range of workouts and trainers. I can set goals, and add family members to my family plan. App is easy to use to schedule workouts, and you can even map your own route. Very user friendly, with something for everyone, from beginner to pro. The trainers are very motivating, and I look forward to my daily workout. I received the Treadmill at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest feedback.

Automatically charged me $396 for an…

Issue Resolved! I was automatically charged $396 for an iFIT subscription for a treadmill I purchased as a gift. I was obviously upset BUT IFIT reached out and immediately credited my account. Great customer service and Iupdated my negative review to positive!

VERY reluctantly tried the ifit service…

VERY reluctantly tried the ifit service after reading other reviews. I absolutely detest cardio workouts. I very recently purchased a treadmill that came compatible with ifit. I didn't initially set up the ifit, because of all the reviews, and honestly, I think they could be far more transparent in their practices and would likely do better for it, but that's just my opinion. I ended up deciding to give it a try and chose it over Aaptive ONLY because it syncs natively with the treadmill. It was very easy to set up, sync with the treadmill, and start choosing programs to run. I had no issues at all with the streaming. I found the run quite less unbearable using ifit than without it. The sync with the incline for the changes in terrain, being able to see my progress on the map and being able to map out my own runs is pretty cool. I found myself actually looking forward to my next run. I'd say the motivational component alone is far worth the cost. Honestly, most people spend more money on coffee each week, so if you are like me and have issues staying motivated, then it's well worth it. After trying out the service, we are going to sign my wife up as well. In addition, not that the other bad reviews are completely unwarranted, but the terms and conditions do lay out most of the issues people are complaining about. I guess I'm one of the few that actually read those. For me, I was willing to give it a try anyway, even if it did cost me to try, and thankfully I am happy with it.

Love this app. I have had no issues and the trainers are great! I am in the middle of the Kauai toning series and it is amazing! Well coached and structured work outs! Keep up the excellent motivation!
