Headspace Renewal Coupon February 2023

I purchased a Headspace monthly subscription in conjunction with Spotify premium back in September this year for a combined price of £14.99 per month. I was aware of Headspace because I had previously tried it on a free trial basis for a week, however I was unimpressed with the spartan offering of features and meditations. I primarily use YouTube and another free meditation app for my practice, because of this a lot of the adverts I was seeing were from Headspace and I quite liked their use of animations to explain concepts and I was interested in the ‘sleep stories’.For some context I’ve been practising meditation on and off for the last four years, I suffer with diagnosed mental health problems and have been using meditation as part of my recovery. I think that Headspace is a good meditation app for people who have not tried meditation before, or who have very mild, undiagnosed mental health issues. Unfortunately for myself I did not find the meditations relevant or engaging, furthermore I was disappointed at the general lack of content beyond ‘the basics’ and that content specifically for issues like anxiety catered only to the milder forms of it.Regarding the app itself I thought it was well designed and pleasant to look at, however I did experience some technical issues, especially with the sleep stories. Often the app would close during a sleep story, usually around halfway through, and this would disturb my relaxation as I would have to go through the process of setting up the sleep story again.I progressed through some of the introductory meditations that often-included animations, unfortunately these animations would frequently not load or involuntarily skip to the next stage without me having watched the clip.One concern I have with Headspace is the artificial obstacles implemented to make unsubscribing from the service deliberately difficult. You cannot manage your subscription through the phone app, you must do so from a desktop computer (an obstacle), when I attempted to access the ‘subscriptions’ page from my computer the link was redirecting me to login, even though I was already logged in (an obstacle) until several tries later (and being redirected to random pages on the website, an obstacle) I finally was able to cancel the Headspace subscription.In conclusion I would say Headspace is suitable for a certain demographic of people looking for a casual meditation experience, however the paltry offerings for the ‘free trial’ appears deliberately engineered towards making the user subscribe as soon as possible. If, like me, you are looking for guided meditations for specific topics, or as part of your mental health recovery and well-being, I can wholeheartedly not recommend Headspace.

With this app I started and have continued a daily meditation practice for over one year, something I had been meaning to do for 20+ years. It is transforming my life. Probably many factors have contributed but generally this app has provided instruction and encouragement with a congenial, light touch and a totally secular approach to mindfulness practice. I am concerned that headspace recently did away w/ its program for providing the app for free to folks who cannot afford it.

This is the absolute best meditation app. Andy gently guides you step by step through meditations for anything you need, stress relief, anxiety, sleep, sports, even mindful cooking. It’s changed my life. I can’t recommend it enough!

Good set of useful materials

This meditation app in my opinion is better than all the others, more straightforward, better guidance, a lot less "touchy-feely" than others out there. I'd come a goodly way in my instruction and practice, which is central to my life now, whenI had an issue where the app crashed on my phone one morning last week. All my "data" was lost, and efforts on my part to fix it on my own came to no end, so I emailed their customer service people on a Sunday, got a reply on Monday asking for additional information--which I gave on Tuesday. That afternoon I got a reply with instructions to correct the issue, followed them this morning, Wednesday, and everything is back to normal. I see a bunch of negative reviews out there. Hopefully, this counterbalances them.

I love headspace. It really helps and I think as long as you are consistent and don't expect results straight away, it can be really beneficial.

Good app in terms of excellent meditation you can do anywhere anytime so long as internet. However app frequently just stops. And once you realize this can happen, you are stressed during your meditation that it will happen. That does not exactly enhance the meditation process. Customer support simply does not exist, they never get back and hope you'll just go to their FAQs page.

In reply to people who had their money siphoned off, Headspace took unauthorized payments, £10 monthly, from my Paypal for nearly 2 years. I had no idea. I began those "free" sessions and when I finished I left it there. In January 2019, there was a yearly offer cheap enough, I took it. So I was paying twice. Monthly and yearly. Thanks to a review which said that Headspace answered rapidly on Twitter, I opened a Twitter account and they answered immediately. To cut the story short, I ended up by tweeting Andy Puddicombe, Sean Brecker and Rich Pearson, the 3 CEO, to get a full refund. Which I did in 3 days! So you know what to do now. Go on Twitter. They are afraid of bad publicity.
