Great customer service for my international order

I ordered 20+ items from United States. They shipped in one big heavy box and it was shipped by DHL. DHL did not handle the shipping box well, so it arrived in a bad condition. It took about a week for a refund of items that were damaged because another department had to process the request, but the US customer service replied to my email within a day. I had to send the photos of the damaged goods. Overall, it was a great customer service experience, and I will definitely order from this website again.

Bought a product that i thought i wanted. on arrival it looked awful, so sent it back the next day. received the refund less than a week later. Would use the company again. Only exchanged minimal messages with customer services, but they didnt seem to be anywhere near as bad as what i read on here.

Ended up being a good service

I ordered on Thursday (a coat) I recieved an email from HN to say my order had been dispatched on the Friday. I then recieved an email from DPD to say they had the order details but no parcel and they we going to deliver on Friday? I started to really worry after reading the reviews here as I have never ordered from them before. I called customer service and was on hold for a total of 35 mins. I called the store in Knightsbridge and ended up speaking to a lady called Seema from concierge who was extremely helpful and gave me an update as to what was happening. My parcel arrived today (Saturday) so all round apart from the initial confusion and being on hold for ages I would order from them again

Great Customer Service

I am very satisfied with the customer service I received from Harvey Nichols via email; I was notified immediately that one of the items I had ordered was no longer in stock and to make up for this was provided with a unique promotional discount code which would allow me free delivery on a future order. My one remaining item which I was expecting to be delivered to my home address was sent instead to my local DPD drop off point and would be held there for only one week; I was unable to collect it as I was away and needed photo identification to be able to pick it up or I would have asked a family member. When explaining this to the customer services team via email, they were extremely attentive and professional, also super friendly and quick to respond to ensure this matter would be solved. The customer service team were more than happy to re send my original order to my home address this time and for no additional added on charge which I was very satisfied and appreciated. Over all I am extremely satisfied with the service I was provided and how quickly I was assisted over email, I would definitely recommend this site/company to others. I look forward to placing more orders with yourselves in the near future. Thank you very much.

Waited for a response for days

*I've edited my reviewThe courier lost my order. I'm ordering online from all over the world for about ten years now. I've had delays of weeks, I've had stuff delivered to the wrong address, yet I've never, ever, had my package lost. An Express courier, insured, less than a week passed, they've lost it - POOF.But the most amazing thing is they couldn't care less, couldn't give a damn. for the last 4 days I've sent them 5 messages through tickets and direct emails, and I got no response whatsoever, none. Their call center is out of business too. This is truly amazing. I mean, even scammers usually answer you back. They might be rude, they might deny a problem, but they answer back. Not Harvey Nichols, oh, no.They answered me only after I made this review, no idea if because of it or not. Things worked out at the end and it wasn't their fault, but it's a shame a business focused on luxury products invests so little in customer service
